Welcome to Willow Point Beach House

Hosts, Maureen and Len Crawford welcome you to Willow Point Beach House, their recently refurbished, lakeside, Bed and Breakfast.

The house is situated on the west arm of Kootenay Lake, in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains, about 4 miles outside of Nelson, British Columbia. The diverse climate and magnificent mountain areas provide plenty to keep all ages fit whether kayaking, cycling, golfing, skiing, jogging or walking. It’s no wonder that the city of Nelson has become one of British Columbia’s premiere tourist locations.

Willow Point Beach House started its life as a farm, harvesting and dispatching fruit from local growers. The old packing shed still stands and at low water the remains of the pylons that supported the dock where the paddle steamer tied up, can still be seen.

The farm later became a store, retaining its importance to the local community and after many years of service it became, to what it is today, a Bed and Breakfast that has under gone extensive renovations. It now provides a different service by way of affordable, comfortable accommodations.

The property stands on half an acre of land with 150 feet of beach frontage. Some say the best beach in the area but then we are a little biased.
